Walking the Walk
We purchase things every day- exchanging money for products. Imagine if all of the things we bought added something to that equation: a direct social impact that made the world a better place.
When we first got together with the idea for Crate of Good, we actually wanted to call it “Throp Box,” short for “Philanthropy Box.” Eventually deciding that “Throp Box” sounded more like an illness caught on a pirate ship, we chose Crate of Good to more accurately represent our mission: deliver a box of social impact, or truly “good” products from organizations doing amazing work to make the world better.
One Box, Four Causes
For those that do not know, a subscription box company is a recurring delivery of a physical box that contains items or products from a theme or category. Each “Crate of Good” box contains four products, one from each cause: Animals, Children, Environment and Poverty, as well as an exclusive Crate of Good item.
The idea for Crate of Good was born when we looked at the subscription box space and saw it was missing products and content that created a true impact. While there are boxes out there donating a percentage of profit to charity or using sustainably sourced and socially conscious products, we still felt there were two important things missing: transparency and choice.
Our Version of Impact
With Crate of Good, we tell you the EXACT impact we make with your support, and then we invite you to CHOOSE where you would like to make an additional impact each quarter.
The team behind Crate of Good is radically focused on making the world we live in better, and we believe we can accomplish this betterment through sustainable, socially-impactful businesses. We often say that we are “passionately obsessed” with making an impact, and we hope this passion is portrayed in each box we deliver.
We really believe that our box “walks the walk” when it comes to making real impact and changing the world, and we are so grateful for the subscribers who are joining us on the journey. Get your first Crate of Good here!
